The Northwood is a family run Guesthouse that is situated in the heart of lovely Rhos on Sea, some 175 yards from the high class shops and the Promenade. For those not travelling by car the Llandudno to Rhyl buses pass the door. Quietly placed we do not suffer any of the noise from the A55 Expressway or the Railway.
"One Day","Mid Week" & "Mini-Break" bookings are accepted and Special Rates are offered throughout the year. Reduced rates apply for children up to and including the age of fifteen.
There is adequate PRIVATE car parking for our guests - we are one of the few guesthouses in the area with this facility.
Our Guests Lounge, with large colour television, offers guests a warm and friendly atmosphere where one may relax after the activities of the day - be they strenuous or otherwise!
Our lounge is where one can meet other guests in comfort so that they become no longer strangers but friends you had not met before.
Our enclosed patio is open for guests to enjoy the afternoon sun and maybe a game of chess or chequers among the many flowers and bird song. The patio bar is available for a relaxing drink and a sandwich for that peaceful time when the world just passes by. Gardeners can take pleasure in the raised flower beds and the variety of summer flowers. The flowers are selected for the enjoyment of all and include many scented to attract ladybirds and bees.
Guests are welcomed to our Dining Room (seating twenty six persons) with the choice of a wide range of cuisine, both at breakfast, and also at dinner. The four course dinner menu is changed daily and includes vegetarian meals, fish dishes, pasta and salads as well as traditional Welsh meals.
David, the chef is very able to cater for any special dietary needs of our guests. Our policy is to use fresh local Welsh produce whenever possible and only local wholesalers if local produce is not available.

We are pleased and proud to announce that following a secret grading visit by The AA on 1st September we have been awarded an extra star. We now have a 4 Star AA guesthouse grading.
We have decided to keep our prices the same as the last two years for 2013 to make a holiday in Rhos on Sea a price smashing one.
Come and stay at a 4 Star guesthouse for the same price as a 3 Star guesthouse last year!
